Two Tank Simultaneous Heating & Cooling Hydronic Geothermal Heat Pumps

UNIT DESCRIPTION
The EMWT-Series unit is a high efficiency two-stage geothermal heat pump designed to yield the maximum COP when deployed in a building that has both heating and cooling requirements at the same time. Whenever the unit operates, a water-to-water heat pump provides chilled water to the onboard cold distribution tank and hot water to the hot water distribution tank. A water well or ground loop provides buffering action to either tank should the water inside go below or rise above the preset values of the computerized on board electronic controller. The simultaneous design allows the user to take advantage of both the heating and cooling sides of the heat pump at the same time ... in effect doubling the COP from 4 to 8 depending on the circumstances.
