A two man NB Energy Commission has tabled a policy that bans baseboard electric heat in all new construction and also proposes a rate hike for existing electric baseboard customers.

With only 750 000 people in New Brunswick, many of them living in rural communities, why wouldn’t NB’s Energy Commission enact a province wide rebate program for geothermal system installation?
