Our heat pumps are built in Petitcodiac, New Brunswick, Canada at our 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Everything from the system design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing is completed at our facility.
Creating The Best Geothermal Heating and Cooling Systems
Our goal is to build heat pumps that perform at the top of their class and are packed with innovative features that homeowners and installers find useful. To accomplish this, we built a CSA certified testing lab. This lab allows us to do all our own testing in-house. This is shared testing facility with CSA, which means that the performance testing and electrical testing performed here is considered to be equal to CSA’s own facilities.
Having our own lab reduces our certification costs and allows us to develop unique heat pumps that you won’t find anywhere else. This is the only lab in Canada that is certified by CSA to ISO 13256-1 and 13256-2 performance tests as well as CSA standards 446 and 748.
Each heat pump model is electrically and performance tested in this lab to the appropriate CSA 446 or CSA 748 standards. This computer controlled facility allows us to test each design thoroughly to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. Maritime Geothermal Ltd. is the only heat pump manufacturer in Canada with its own CSA certified HVAC test lab.
Charge at Our Electric Car Charging Station
Sustainable transportation is also an important value at Maritime Geothermal Ltd. We encourage our team to use sustainable transportation whenever possible, including working remotely, but in 2012, we took this commitment a step further.
To demonstrate our commitment to reducing our transportation footprint, we became the first company in Atlantic Canada to own an electric car. Our Nissan Leaf certainly turns heads, but the real crowd pleaser is our electric car charging station. This charging station is open to the public for complimentary use during business hours.
